Platform Customization.

Deep customization for CS-Cart, WooCommerce, and Laravel Commerce. Custom add-ons, tier-pricing engines, and B2B account hierarchies that survive upgrades and scale with your catalog.

The Shift

From what's slowing teams down, to what unlocks growth.

01The Limitation

Off-the-shelf covers 80%.

Every commerce platform gets you most of the way there. What differentiates your store — the tier pricing, the quote workflows, the multi-warehouse fulfillment, the custom shipping rules — lives in the last 20%. That 20% is where every store hits the plugin ceiling and has to make a choice: work around the platform, or extend it properly.

I extend it properly. That means add-ons that survive core upgrades, follow the platform's own patterns, and stay maintainable when you inevitably rev the base version.

02The Craft

Custom add-ons, upgrade-safe by design.

The difference between a customization that survives five years and one that breaks on the next update is whether it hooks into the platform's own extension points or monkey-patches core files. I only ever do the former. Every add-on I write follows the platform's plugin conventions, ships with its own migration path, and is version-tagged against a specific range of core versions.

  • Custom CS-Cart add-ons with proper upgrade paths.
  • WooCommerce extensions that survive core updates.
  • Tier / role-based pricing engines for B2B catalogs.
  • Multi-warehouse, multi-currency, and multi-tenant logic.

Off-the-shelf commerce platforms cover 80% of what most stores need — the last 20% is where the money is. I build the custom add-ons, tier-pricing engines, and B2B account hierarchies that turn a generic storefront into a competitive one.

My CS-Cart and WooCommerce work has powered stores with hundreds of thousands of SKUs, multi-warehouse fulfillment, and complex quote-and-approval workflows that no plugin marketplace covered.

What's included in this build

Every platform customization engagement is a premium, end-to-end delivery tailored to your specific business rules.

Custom CS-Cart Add-Ons

Full add-on structure with schema migrations, versioned templates, admin panels, and per-storefront overrides — following the CS-Cart plugin manifest properly.

WooCommerce Extensions

Extensions written against WooCommerce hooks and filters (never core-file edits), with unit tests and compatibility notes for each supported WC major version.

Tier Pricing Engine

B2B pricing tables with per-customer overrides, quantity breaks, and role-based visibility — calculated server-side so it's consistent between storefront, cart, and invoice.

B2B Account Hierarchies

Company → division → buyer account trees with approval workflows, budget limits, and per-node catalog visibility.

Multi-Warehouse Logic

Inventory allocation across warehouses with per-region shipping rules, split shipments, and cost-optimized fulfillment routing.

Upgrade-Safe Architecture

All customizations live in an add-on package with its own migrations, versioning, and compatibility matrix — so core upgrades stay routine, not a project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about platform customization engagements.

Will your customizations survive future core upgrades?
That's the entire point of how I structure them. Every add-on hooks into the platform's official extension points, ships with its own migrations, and is versioned against a specific range of core versions. When you upgrade, worst case is a fast compatibility patch — never a rebuild.
Can you integrate custom payment gateways?
Yes. I've integrated Stripe, Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, and several bank-specific gateways into CS-Cart and WooCommerce. Every integration includes webhook verification, refund handling, and admin-side transaction tracing.
How does B2B tier pricing work?
Pricing rules live server-side in a dedicated engine — never in JavaScript. Rules can be per-customer, per-role, per-quantity, per-product, or any combination, and the same engine runs at cart, checkout, invoice, and admin views so they always match.
Can you migrate our store to a different platform?
Yes, but that's a bigger conversation than a customization. Usually the right sequence is (1) audit the platform to see if customization can save the current install, (2) if not, plan a migration with a data mapping and URL preservation strategy. Both paths I've done many times.

Something you need shipped
this quarter?

Send a two-line brief with the outcome you're after — a build, an audit, a rescue, a second opinion. I read it personally and reply within one business day. No agency middle-layer. No sales funnel.
